Honeycomb
It is no longer summer but I just finished my Scrappy Summer #3 – ‘Honeycomb’ quilt top. It is a small wall hanging measuring 35″x41″. I think the background color really sets off all of the different fabrics in the quilt. This is the first time I work with hexagons. It was a little fussy to sew them together but I really like the look.

If you are new to my quilt blog you can see Scrappy Summer #1 – Petals here and Scrappy Summer #2 – 20 Cottage Lane here.
Check out my ‘Linky Parties’ page to find some fabulous blogs where I share my projects and get inspiration.
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving holiday.

dropped by to say “hi” from Linky Tuesday, love all three projects you’ve made with these florals, gorgeous prints many of which I have too. This is scrummy wall hanging – Chris @madebyChrissieD 😀

I like your background colour, sometimes a colourful background is such a nice change from the typical neutrals.

Beautiful Micki! That background really sets off the beautiful florals!
