These are leftover half square triangles from a quilt I made a couple of years ago. I like the design layout but wonder if I should make it bigger. The HST’s still need to be trimmed to a consistent size but will end up finishing at 2-1/4″ square. The wall hanging would be 18″ x 27″ without borders. Now that I look at the photo I see that I might need to make some replacement half square triangles. I want to be sure to have a good contrast of light/dark to show off the design.
Need your advice. I have a spot in my office cube that I think this quilt would look great but it is only about 29″ wide. Do I keep the 2×3 grid and add border(s) OR do I make it 3×3 grid with no borders? Decisions…Decisions. What do you think?
