RSC October 2016 blocks
October marks the last month and Angela at So Scrappy has chosen yellow/orange. My fabrics range from yellow to gold which coincidentally matches many of the leaves that have fallen in my yard. Yes, it is official fall. It is a lovely time of the year but makes me think of what is coming next…UGH.

The challenge went from January to October with a new color each month. That makes it ten months times 10 blocks per month. Wowzy…100 blocks. Seems like a lot but these blocks will only finish at 5″ so I will need all of them to make a small quilt. I am not sure if I will add any other blocks to the design layout but I have been pondering a couple of options. I will be spending the rest of the year working on getting all of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2016 blocks together into a quilt.
Life is good ! Here are my pups capturing the sun coming in the front door.

I spent many hours outside getting the garden ready for winter. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Linking up with So Scrappy and Quilting is more fun than housework.

Love your blocks.

Love your quilt blocks. They match the leaves on my neighbor’s tree which I can see outside my window. Your dogs resemble my cats which are all sprawled on the table beside my desk. There are five of them sleeping there now. Thanks for sharing your blocks.
