Lily quilt top is done
YAHOO ! – my ‘Lily’ quilt top is done. I love the simplicity of the block and think I might have to try it again with different fabrics.

Except for the corners of the blocks and the border section, it is made using only 2-1/2″ strips. You could easily do this with a jelly roll and yardage for the background.
Of course, no post is complete unless I add a couple of photos from the garden. I have had the ‘endless summer’ hydrangea plant for many years. This is the first year that I have gotten more than one of those beautiful, delicate blooms.

Here is some of my red asiatic lilies.

The coneflowers and day lilies are starting to bloom. I will have to get my camera out and takes some photos. How are you coming along with your quilt projects?
Check out my ‘Linky Parties’ page to find some fabulous blogs where I share my projects and get inspiration.
