I was getting ready to put together this post on the completion of the quilt top and realized that I haven’t shown you anything about it.
As you can see it is simple block made up of squares and rectangles. What makes the quilt fun is the fabric. Most of the fabrics are from a collection called Hubba Hubba from Moda.

The block finishes at 6″ and every other one is rotated. I wanted the quilt to hang is a small spot in my home so I did a grid of 7×9 blocks. You could easily make the quilt larger by adding more blocks or a border.

Check out my ‘Linky Parties’ page to find some fabulous blogs where I share my projects and get inspiration.

I just visited your blog from one of the linky parties you “attended” and while I was there explored your blog a little bit. I stumbled across your 20 Cottage Lane post and LOVED IT! Is there a pattern for this quilt?

Janice, thanks for stopping by. I didn’t use a pattern but the design is inspired by many, many quilts I saw on the internet. You might try CluckCluckSew.com ‘Suburbs’ quilt pattern.

The colors and fabrics are so sweet. They do a lot of talking for this piece.
