Wow…I have some catching up to do to show you the latest flowers in the garden.
The peonies have been done for awhile. I didn’t have a chance to get any good close ups but here is a couple photos.
Next to bloom were the tiger lilies and pestemon.
The yellow coreposis is still blooming. It provides a nice contrast to all of the green leaves in that area of the garden.
I have volunteer milkweed in different areas of my garden. I am surprised that they have grown to be around 3-4 feet tall. The fragrance of the blooms reminds me a little of lilacs. The plants provides a good food source for the monarch butterflies.
You have to enjoy these hydrangea while you can. One big rain storm and those big flower heads are laying on the ground.
Shouldn’t be too long before the day lilies and astible are showing off their flowers.
Happy gardening !
