I am working on my colorful four patch blocks and couldn’t wait to share them. Aren’t they gorgeous? VERY bright and VERY colorful. WOWZY!
Hard to believe but I had all those fabrics in my stash. Although, I must confess, the red solid I had was not dark enough so I went to Glads Creations and was able to purchased a replacement Kona solid that works much better.
This past weekend we had awesome weather. Warm and sunny. Did some garden cleanup and walked around to see what was growing. Here are some day lilies making an early appearance.
With the warm weather I was able to spend some time hanging out in my three season porch reading a bit, watching TV and working on a new idea for a quilt. I also watched some of Bonnie Hunter’s archived Quilt Cam while cutting up some recycled men’s shirts. If you aren’t familiar with Bonnie Hunter check her Quiltsville blog. Click on ‘QuiltCam’ at the top of the page to get to the list. She is not teaching anything but it is entertaining to see what she is working on.
Check out my ‘Linky Parties’ page to find some fabulous blogs where I share my projects and get inspiration.
