Kati’s quilt top is done
Back in June 2014, I was one of the pattern testers for Kati of From the Blue Chair for her pattern called ‘APPS’. I posted a photo of the few blocks that I had made here. Since then the blocks have languished on the back burner. I finally finished the blocks and put them up on the design wall. After numerous changes, here is the final layout.

Here are the blocks after they were trimmed to a square but at wonky angles. FYI… the dark color is the design wall not a border.

Here is my very bright and colorful version of Kati’s quilt pattern. I made a small wall hanging that measures 24″ x 36″. The binding will be mostly white with a few inserts of the black multicolor strip fabric that is the center of the block in the second row.

Check out my ‘Linky Parties’ page to find some fabulous blogs where I share my projects and get inspiration.

Love the oranges and pinks in this. They’re set of nicely against the White. Simple and effective.
