Votes are in

I posed the question about adding a border to my Greek Cross quilt on a recent post and was pleasantly surprised when I received five replies. The votes have been counted and it was two votes from folks who suggested adding borders, one vote said it looked good as it is and two that thought it would look good either way. I was still wondering about the border when I finally figured out where I wanted to hang the quilt. The wall is next to the door going downstairs to my basement. The space isn’t very big but the quilt looks really nice there. Decision as been made – no borders. Greek Cross ended up being 36″ x 45″.

Ignore the blue tape holding up the quilt top – couldn’t wait to share the photo. Now I need to install the curtain rod. Actually, since this is a small wall hanging, I will be trying the Command hanging hooks by 3M instead of using screws. I will let you know how it works.
