Just flowers

Today, I am just showing some of the flowers in my garden. I am amazed how well this photo turned out. I was just taking a photo of the cone flowers when I saw the butterfly.

I added a few small hostas in the front of the bed by the circle pavers. They will definitely fill in the space next year.

The Liatris is just starting to bloom. It is an interesting plant, they start blooming at the top of the plant and go downward.

Photo of part of my east garden. The white fluffy flowers are Annabelle hydrangea. Unfortunately, the rain and winds beat them up somewhat. Below the hydrangeas is a spirea shrub and a hosta.

Yes, your butterfly and coneflower photo is similar to mine! Yours looks like a Monarch.

This wasn’t a good year for my Annabelle hydrangeas either. The stems seam so fragile and with all the rain, many of the stems are bent and the flowers are hanging down. I hope I can get a good bouquet in the fall.
