Spring can’t be far away

In a typical Minnesota winter the temps would be in the high 30’s ….but it is 64 degrees out now with lots of sun. Just came back in from a walk with my dog Spice …it is beautiful. Nice to be outside without the traditional winter gear of boots, coats and mittens. Hard to believe that it is not even the middle of March. It will be awhile before I will be playing in the garden but am looking forward to the tulips and daffodils.

I am having a difficult time concentrating on my quilting chores today. Two of my quilts are at the long arm quilters and I need to prepare both binding and sleeves for them. The deadline to get these ready for the Minnesota Quilt show in June 2012 is fast approaching. This year’s show is in Rochester, MN and my best friend and quilting buddy Jane and I will be attending for at least two days.
